title : poem.
Desert Night by Wafaa A.

The stars are your guides,
To a destination unknown.
The moon, with its smile,
Is saying
“Don’t worry, you are not alone”

The chill in the air has penetrated,
Deep into your bones.
You fall onto you knees exhausted,
Rubbing your frost bitten toes.
“What” you ask “is the purpose
When I am in this barren land,
When all I can see in front of me
Is a bunch of shrubs and sand?”

As dawn approaches you open your bags,
And lay out your mat to pray.
And as you pray you give Allah thanks,
For not leading you astray.

As the sun appears from behind a dune,
Its rays travel over your body.
It warms you up pretty soon,
Giving you satisfaction and a feeling of harmony.

Lost in this feeling,
Its warmth has found its way,
To the core of your heart and soul.
And just then you remember,
The point of this mission,
And smile for you are truly not alone.

Chanced upon this beautiful piece of poem when I was researching for the topic on adat the other day. Don't ask me how it appeared. I guess I really can't run from Literature as much as I want to huh? Somehow, they keep chasing after me. =D

I can't wait for Wednesday!

Innova JC''s inaugural POP Talent Showcase. wo0ho0o!

I'm definitely rooting for Fadhilah for the solo category. For band...hmm...there are two I'm still deciding from. I have to vote before Wednesday. I've still not been able to because something's wrong with the school's portal. Haiya.

Anyhows, just a gentle piece of advice of caution for you people out there.
Please do not watch the new series debuting tonight on Channel 8 at 10.30pm The Yang Warriors of The Yang Clan. If you do not want to cry incessantly at the last few episodes that is. Really. Believe me. I've watched that series with my dad last year online. And we couldn't stop crying. It's super tragic lah! The show's really nice though. Really. I was immensely taken in by the fierce loyalty portrayed by the Yang family. Plus the fighting scenes. Except the last few episodes. Which was simply gruesome and bestial of the evil characters in the series to severely torture their enemies in ways indescribable and beyond humane. Up till now, I still have the surging urge to just argh-gahhs-bing-bash-boom-kedepak those inhumane people. Argh.

The irony is, I think I'm going to watch the debut tonight. Sheesh.

Oh. I'm swelling with pride at the fact that I've successfully completed my homeworks and have yet to lag behind in tutorials or lessons except for some topics for certain subjects.
HOWEVER, the vehemence of my fury stretches beyond words. If I could describe it in the most apt way, you would probably see me banging chairs all around. And what is the cause of my frightening wrath?

HISTORY.

bleghs!

I think I would probably need 10 hours just to complete one essay question. I'm still stuck with my essay up till now. It's been what? 10 million hours probably.
I have no idea why I'm having so much difficulty with my supposedly-used-to-be-favourite subject. I've been scoring disctinctions for three years for History since secondary school. I've a feeling the tables are turning around now. aaaaaahhhhh!!! i des-pe-rate-ly need help. MEGA HELP!
