Finally.
IT'S OVERRRRRR!!!
Summer Test is officially over. Alhamdulillah.
Reviewing my preparations, I can almost guarantee that I wouldn't do well.
Come, I tell you why. =D
Monday, Vesak Day holiday, the whole family with the exception of Husna headed over to JB. It's been ages since I last when there lah. I was so atingled with the prospect of SHOPPING! The checkpoint was surprisingly smooth-sailing, so we reached City Square at 9 plus. So early right?! All the shops were obviously not opened for business yet. So much for shopping...-.-"
But anyways, we went to watch movie! It was an indeterminate choice between The Chronicles of Narnia: Prince Caspian and Speed Racer. But the kids were unyieldingly bent on watching Speed Racer. So we, being the undubitably congenial nice kakak-kakak, gave in. =)
Speed Racer is kind of cool. But! It was too virtual for my own liking. It's set in such a virtual world that you wouldn't be able to relate to the story as an ordinary human being living in reality. I find the plotline cool though. RACING! And all the dirty, corrupted politics involved in the sporting world was a real eye-opener. The best thing about the movie however, is the unassailably GORGEOUS HOT HOT HOT HUNK playing as Speed Racer's elder brother. Well, the first part of the movie that is. Seriously, GOOD-LOOKING tak boleh tahan lor! All my sisters, and even my MUM were sighing away in our seats. Haha! But! I really really hate the ending. Go watch then I'll tell you why. =))
The movie aside, we then went shopping for awhile. For Hariz's shoes, while I had to study for Econs and my History paper the next day while walking around! Ish3...After City Square, Angsana. The foodcourts there are super disgusting now lah. The service was so slow, the place was practically littered with rubbish, we immediately lost appetite. So, Mama went to order pizzzas at Pizza Hut instead. Pheew! And if you thought all along, I was having the best time of my life, shopping, you thought wrong. I didn't get to do any shopping at all! Haiya. =/
While waiting for the traffic jam to subside, went to eat at Banafe Cafe. Wahh! Best, I tell you! The kebabs there are super SEDAAP! =D
Got home at 10 plus (WITHOUT ANY STUDYING DONE!) and knocked out. History Paper the next day, I didn't even finish. I obviously failed my 2nd essay which was worth 25 marks because I didn't even get through to half of the essay. somebody would you please just slap me! =/
Wednesday, H2 ECONOMICS in the morning and H2 MATHEMATICS in the afternoon. I'm quite satisfied with my Econs though. At least I don't think I'll screw it up that badly. Maths was simply put, ghastly horrendous. I couldn't do the first 5 questions, all of which were supposed to be the topics I'm familiar with and better at! ARGH! H2 Malay was equally apalling. For the first time in my entire life, I didn't finish a Malay paper- the peringkasan. So, 20 marks gone. Just like that. Mad or what?!
I'm hoping I'd do well for GP. I put in so much effort into GP, I swear I'll cry if I don't at least get higher than my Common Test. It's like the only subject I'm really hoping to do well in since it was the only subject I put my utmost effort in. Hehs.
Oh. I'm terribly upset that it wasn't David ARCHULETA singing his melancholic voice in victory. Though it was kind of expected that David Cook would win. He has his ways with the audience after all.
Also, I've not packed my luggage for China trip! Mama said she'd be accompanying me shopping for the stuff tomorrow. Plus, tomorrow's the start of the Great Singapore Sale. Yes lah! SHOPPING! hahaha! Pray for our safety please! Pray that we come back safe and sound. Insya-Allah. =)
I seriously seriously can't wait. I miss taking the airplane. I miss being served food by the stewardesses. I miss miss travelling. I'm sure we're going to have a blast of our time there. Don't worry. I'll take lots and lots of pictures and satisfy your intrigued, curious souls. And of course, I'll make you guys jealous. HMPH! =p
Oh. His name is SCOTT PORTER. =))
